Do you supply the firewood, or should we bring up with us?
We provide ample firewood for the inside fireplace. All wood is sourced from local suppliers. Only fires that are contained within the provided fire pit are permitted. External fires are subject to any current fire bans and guidelines. Note: Fire bans are commonly in place between October and April, depending on how dry it is.

Can I host a wedding/event at the cottage?
While Stanley House is a great location for your wedding preparation with family and guests, we currently cannot host weddings or events. Stanley House is the perfect place to find tranquility before and after your wedding or event.

Is there a minimum number of nights I can book?
The minimum stay at Stanley House is 2 nights, though our guests often wish they had booked for more nights.

Can we book direct with the owners?

What kind of coffee machine do you have?
In the well-appointed kitchen, you will find a Nespresso coffee pod machine, with some pods supplied (original size). You are welcome to bring additional coffee pods along, alternatively you can purchase more from the local supermarket. The machine will use any Nespresso-compatible pods that are original size - preferably home compostable or aluminium.

What basic pantry, laundry and bathroom essentials do you provide?
Your stay at Stanley House will get off to a great start with the following essentials provided complimentary: Assortment of tea, coffee & Nespresso coffee pods, sugar, milk, bread, a selection of condiment jams, laundry liquid, Wallawa shampoo/conditioner/body soap, and general cleaning products.

Do you provide linens and towels?
You only need to pack your clothes when you stay at Stanley House, as all the necessary linen is supplied with your stay.

Do you close rooms if we have less than 10 guests?
We want you to experience the full beauty of Stanley House, so we do not close off any rooms if less than 10 people are staying.

Are there noise restrictions?
While we want you and your guests to have a great stay and enjoy yourselves at Stanley House, all guests and visitors are responsible for noise levels and need to adhere to local residential noise restrictions (as per most Australian towns and cities).
